We are seeking a dedicated Bar Manager to take full ownership of our beverage program while serving as a key leader for our upscale dining room operations. While your primary domain is the bar, you will be a vital presence on the floor, ensuring that our high standards of hospitality extend from the first pour to the final guest departure.

This role is for a beverage professional who thrives on the energy of a busy service and possesses the technical expertise to manage a sophisticated wine and spirits program.


Key Responsibilities

  • Bar Operations & Innovation: Drive the creative direction of the cocktail program and maintain a high-standard, organized, and profitable bar environment.

  • Wine Program Management: Oversee a curated wine list, managing cellar inventory, staff tastings, and guest education with a focus on pairing and vintage knowledge.

  • Floor Leadership: Lead the floor during peak service, managing the flow of the dining room and resolving guest needs with poise and professionalism.

  • Financial Oversight: Manage beverage COGS, labor costs, and inventory controls to ensure the department meets all financial targets.

  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor bar and floor staff on upscale service techniques and product knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Beverage Expertise: Extensive experience in upscale bar management with a strong foundation in wine service (CMS/WSET preferred).

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage both a bar team and a dining room floor simultaneously.

  • Service Standards: A deep understanding of upscale/fine-dining etiquette and “white-glove” hospitality.

  • Operational Skills: Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and scheduling.
