Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Kitchen Manager to help oversee the daily operations of our kitchen that provides food for three concepts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
– Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
– Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
– Oversee inventory control and manage food costs effectively
– Develop and maintain recipes, portion specifications, and standard preparation procedures
– Train kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques
– Collaborate with the management team to create innovative menu items
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Experience
– Previous experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in full service fine dining or casual dining establishments
– Strong culinary skills and knowledge of hospitality management practices
– Proficiency in inventory management and control
– Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
– Familiarity with bar operations is a plus
– Sushi experience is a plus
