This 24-hour restaurant concept with a long-standing reputation is looking for an energetic and experienced General Manager. Join this established local restaurant company that operates high-volume, full-service locations throughout Houston.

The individual in this position has five primary objectives:
(1) Drive sales growth in the restaurant by ensuring that guests receive awesome experiences and are excited to come back.
(2) Creating and maintaining a work environment that makes US the “employer of choice” in their market, and in turn promotes longevity with valued Team Members.
(3) Properly maintaining the building and equipment while making sure that what is presented to the “eye of the guest” is always up to standard.
(4) Controlling the costs and expenses of the operation in a way that delivers the appropriate financial return to the partners of the business.
(5) Make sure all managers and Team Members are educated in and behaving in a way that is compliant with all applicable regulations and regulatory standards relevant to the business operation.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience managing a high-volume restaurant in excess of $3MM in revenue, including developing and executing marketing and sales strategies, managing inventory and food costs, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

  • Knowledge of multiple dayparts, such as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night.

  • A passion for food service and the hospitality industry.

  • Working knowledge of business software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Working knowledge of POS (point-of-sale) and inventory systems.

These requirements are essential for the successful management of a high-volume restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role.
